My half of an art trade with 
. It's a scene from our never-ending RP, where Jynn finds out she can't bring herself to hurt Jexplh. In the background, a bunch of Yaqtil soldiers are defending the Icecubia outpost from Empire soldiers. Exciting, no? (The whole story is just too complicated.)
I kind of lost control with this.
At first I was just going to do the image in the large panel in the middle, but then I figured it would make it more interesting to put it in a semi-comic format. Then I decided to fill in the border with what's going on in the meantime. I was feeling unusually inspired.
Hope everything looks okay, Siri. ^^

Lio was soothed by the sound of Luka’s heartbeat. He was afraid of the end, but he tried to concentrate on his supervisor’s steady heartbeat, a battle drum whose constant beating was muffled by the cavity in which it pounded triumphantly.
